# Privacy Policy for PolarityFlip
**Effective date:** August 11, 2026
**Developer:** PierogiJohn.com
**Contact:** John@PierogiJohn.com
PolarityFlip is a single-player arcade game. It has no accounts, no sign-up, and
no servers operated by us. This policy explains the small amount of information
the app stores on your device, and the information collected by the third-party
services it uses.
## Summary
– We do not operate a server and we do not receive, store, or sell your personal
information.
– Your score and audio settings are saved **on your device only**.
– The app shows banner advertising supplied by **Google AdMob**, which collects
data as described below.
– If you are signed in to **Apple Game Center**, your score can be submitted to a
leaderboard operated by Apple.
– The app does **not** ask for permission to track you across other companies’
apps and websites, and does not access the Advertising Identifier (IDFA).
## Information stored on your device
The app saves three values in local storage (iOS `UserDefaults`) so the game
works the way you left it:
| What | Why |
|—|—|
| Your best score | To show “YOUR BEST” and mark a new record |
| Whether audio is on or off | To remember your mute setting |
| Your music volume level | To remember your volume setting |
This information never leaves your device, is not readable by us, and is deleted
when you delete the app.
## Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app displays a banner advertisement on the game-over screen. Ads are supplied
by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect and process
information such as device identifiers, device type and operating system version,
approximate location derived from your IP address, and interactions with ads.
We do not receive this information, and we do not combine it with anything else.
– Google’s practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy:
https://policies.google.com/privacy
– How Google uses information from apps that use its services:
https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
**Tracking.** PolarityFlip does not present the App Tracking Transparency prompt
and does not access the Advertising Identifier (IDFA). Ads are therefore served
without cross-app tracking.
## Game Center (Apple)
If you are signed in to Game Center, the app can submit your best score to a
Game Center leaderboard and display your friends’ scores. That feature is
operated by Apple, and the information involved (your Game Center player ID,
display name, and scores) is handled under Apple’s privacy policy:
https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
Game Center is optional. If you are not signed in, the app simply does not show a
leaderboard, and everything else works normally.
## Sharing
The app offers buttons to share the game using Messages, X, or Facebook. Choosing
one opens that app or website with a suggested message containing your best
score. Nothing is sent unless you choose to send it, and we receive no copy of it.
Once you leave PolarityFlip, the privacy policy of that app or website applies.
## Children
PolarityFlip is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly
collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided
personal information through the app, please contact us at the address above.
## Your choices
– **Ads:** you can limit ad personalization in iOS under
Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising, and in
Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
– **Game Center:** sign out in iOS Settings to stop score submission.
– **Local data:** deleting the app removes your saved score and audio settings.
– **Access, correction, or deletion requests:** because we hold no personal
information about you, there is nothing for us to retrieve or delete. For data
held by Google or Apple, use the links above.
## Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted at this address with a
new effective date.
